Vellure was built for one reason: shopping for beauty products online means wading through thousands of near-identical listings, inflated marketing claims, and review sections that are often more noise than signal.
We organize picks by category — skincare, makeup, fragrance, haircare, beauty tools, and bath & body — with honest, plainly written descriptions of what a product actually does, and what it doesn't.
Every product on this site is chosen using the same short checklist:
Vellure is currently a small, independently-run site — there's no in-house esthetician or dermatology team behind it yet. We're upfront about that rather than implying otherwise.
The Your Beauty Edit quiz on the homepage asks three simple questions and uses one of them — your biggest focus — to mark two categories as "Recommended for you." It does not know your actual skin or hair condition, does not diagnose anything, and is not a dermatological tool of any kind. It's a content filter, nothing more, saved only in your browser with no account or backend. Every category stays fully browsable regardless of what you answer.
Vellure is a participant in the Amazon.ca Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. When you click through to Amazon and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no additional cost to you. This is the only way the site is monetized. See our Affiliate Disclosure for full details.
Products are not selected or ranked based on commission rate. We do not accept payment from brands for placement or favorable coverage.
